Today I went back to work, I start pretty early, so my morning walk was pretty early too. I swear I was out before the birds. Still I did see a brush turkey having a dirt bath right on the edge of the track I walk on. He didn't move until I was right next to him, dust flying everywhere.
Saw two  pairs of crested pigeons, one was quite a pale grey, the ones here are normally darker. This is an illustration of crested pigeons by John Gould, a famous birder and artist.
